Our summer Thursdays in backyards, on porches and in parks — the Season of the Table — close with one last Table, all of us together: Sunday, August 30, at the church building, straight after the morning service. It is a shared meal, and this time it is simple: the first letter of your last name tells you what to bring — the chart is on this page. Then the Potter's Homes launch this September. Through the fall, the Season of Harvest, each home hosts a community event on a day of its own choosing, while the whole church gathers at the church building for Potluck & Prayer — Fridays 6 – 8 PM, from September 11 through November 27: we fast together through the day, break the fast with the Lord's Supper, and share a full meal, with kids' activities provided. In December the Season of Learning begins: 6 – 7 PM your home opens the Word together, then 7 – 8 PM everyone on Zoom for PSOS, the Potter's School of Service. Our year turns through four seasons — Harvest, Learning, Prayer, and the Table — and when summer comes, the homes carry the table back outdoors.

All summer the table travelled from backyard to porch to park. For the last one we bring it home: everybody together at the church building, straight after the morning service. It is a shared meal — and this time nobody has to guess. Find the first letter of your last name below: it tells you exactly what to bring.
Chicken, beef, fish, stew, curry, jollof rice, lasagna, luwombo, griot — meat or vegetarian. Bring it hot if you can.
Salad, vegetables, rice, chapati, bread rolls, pasta salad, fried plantain, roast potatoes, ugali, couscous.
Cake, cookies, pie, mandazi, banana bread, a fruit platter or watermelon — or juice, iced tea, pop, bottled water, a bag of ice.
One household = one dish, enough for about eight people. Cooking for a crowd already? Bring two. The church has plenty of plates, cups and cutlery — please don't bring any. And if your letter's dish truly doesn't work for you this week, bring what you can: nobody leaves this table hungry.

A Potter's Home is a group — a few families and friends who meet close to where they live and practice the church's five pillars together, all year round. That is what you register to host, and what you join. The Potter's Table is what those homes look like in summer, when the meal moves outdoors into backyards, onto porches and into parks. Potter's Homes launch this September.
Love, Truth, Power, Fellowship, Outreach — everything the church is on Sunday, lived out close to home during the week. Each season gives one pillar its turn.
Each Potter's Home finds its own rhythm — an evening in the Word, a time of prayer and worship, a serving project, a shared meal, a neighbour reached. No two homes need look alike.
In winter, the Season of Learning, Thursdays have a shape: 6 – 7 PM your Potter's Home gathers to open the Word together, then 7 – 8 PM everyone joins on Zoom for PSOS, the Potter's School of Service — some students in Year One, others in Year Two. PSOS is a winter term. The home meets at 6 – 7 on purpose, so it never interferes with the 7 – 8 hour.
In the fall, the Season of Harvest, each Potter's Home hosts a gathering on a day of its own choosing. It only has to be two things: a community event that involves the community — open to the neighbours, not just to the church — and a fundraising event that raises money for a cause. Packing grocery boxes is one example, not the requirement; each home is free to choose what suits it.

A Potter's Home is where the church receives from the first three pillars — and pours out through the last two. Your home may gather around one pillar, two, or all five.

The Potter's Homes launch in September, and the fall belongs to outreach: each home hosts one community event on whatever day suits it — there is no fixed evening for these. And every Friday, 6 – 8 PM, the whole church still gathers at the church building for Potluck & Prayer, September 11 through November 27, 2026. Both, not either: your home's own event, and Friday Potluck & Prayer together.
Thursdays: 6 – 7 PM your Potter's Home gathers to open the Word, then 7 – 8 PM everyone together on Zoom for PSOS, the Potter's School of Service — Year One or Year Two. This is the winter term, December through February. Spring is the Season of Prayer, at the church building on Thursdays; summer is the Season of the Table, outdoors.
Potter's Homes launch this September — one form, whether you're hosting one or joining one. Hosting starts this fall: you open your home for the Season of Harvest and your home's own community event, on the day that suits you; from December your home meets Thursday evenings, 6 – 7 PM, for the Season of Learning; and come summer you carry the table outdoors. Your address is only used to place you in a home near where you live — it is never published.
The church isn't just what happens on Sunday. It's our lives, woven together — through a shared summer of welcome, and now into a year that turns through four seasons.

From a simple dessert table to a full BBQ — every level of hosting blesses the family.
Children are welcome and woven in. A weekly love offering helps cover childcare and host expenses.
For the last summer Thursdays — and later for your Potter's Home — pick the level that fits your week. None of these are 'more spiritual' than the others — every open door blesses the body.
The ask from Pastor Fidele: each family chooses at least one Thursday this summer. Choose more if you'd like. We'll take a love offering at every gathering to cover childcare and any expenses the hosting family has covered.

In September the Potter's Homes launch, each hosting its own community event on the day it chooses — and on Fridays, 6 – 8 PM, the whole church gathers at the church building for Potluck & Prayer — fasting together through the day, breaking the fast with the Lord's Supper, and sharing a full potluck meal, with kids' activities provided — through November 27 (sign up on the Potluck & Prayer page). Then from December the homes meet on Thursday evenings for the Season of Learning.
